About Us
We are the Molners: Koty, Kayla, & the famous Elijah! We are a family staffing through YWAM (Youth with a Mission). Whose goal is to know God and make Him known. YWAM has been around since 1960, and operates in over 180+countries. Their main goal is working through evangelizing, mercy ministries, and training all over the world to every nation & every tribe.
Why do we want to be missionaries?
Koty always wanted to be a missionary since he went on a mission trip with his church to South Africa when he was 13. And when he had a faith crisis later in life, that trip was one of the core memories that was foundational reminder to how he could not deny how he experienced the Holy Spirit. Koty is passionate to talk to people that have different world views and believes that there is a key in every culture to speak life and hope into.
Kayla, always wanted to join the Peace Corps as a kid. When Koty explained to her that being a missionary is like joining the Peace Corps, but for Jesus. Kayla was all in. Kayla is passionate that every conversation is a conversation for hope. Kayla is a spiritual director and is passionate about being a good listener and showing how God was always there with someone through every part of their journey, even when they don't realize it. Kayla desires to see true healing and break through in someone's life, and she believes that no one is to far gone to receive true love and mercy.
Elijah is excited to go back Kona. He is often known as the four-year-old who may raise his hands and praise Jesus randomly through the grocery store. He may remind his parents to pray for every person on the street corner and sidewalk as we drive past them. Elijah's favorite hobbies is playing with Hot Wheels cars, playing dinosaurs game at school, & rolling up on his three-wheel scooter.
We want to fulfill the Great Commission, we know that at times in this life we've been hopeless & downtrodden. However, Jesus picked us up cleaned our wounds and embraced us for who we are. We believe everyone was made in the image of God and that everyone can be lifted up from the oppression of this world. We want to live radically, through love. And we believe in this because without it, we would be lost in a crazy world. No matter how lost or gone someone is there is redemption and hope in the next day.
